Anchoring the southwestern corner of this broad tree-lined boulevard and topped by Manitoba’s newly restored symbol, the four metre high Golden Boy, is the majestic Legislative Building. This neo-classical structure is made of local Tyndall limestone. It fronts onto Memorial Park and Broadway, which runs to Main Street ending in the historic Via Rail Station. Pedestrians can walk through the grand domed station to The Forks National Historic Site.
