Overlooking South Bay, this museum preserves the maritime history of the county and the province. Hundreds of artifacts, like vessel models, early motors and 18th century canoes, are on display. Nearby Point Traverse has been declared North America’s most important dive site, with more than 50 shipwrecks. The restored False Duck lighthouse consists of exhibits explaining its history.
