Named after Cork County, Ireland, this Old Town neighbourhood blends religion with pioneer lifestyle. Early Irish settlers built the Little Trinity Church when many couldn’t afford the pew rentals at St. James Cathedral. Now, more than a century later, Little Trinity is Toronto’s oldest surviving church and the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse provides a glimpse into pioneer days when it was the first free school in Toronto. Located between Queen Street East and Front Street East.
