273 Bloor St. W.
Toronto, Ontario M5S 1W2

Description provided by Editors

Founded in 1866, the Royal Conservatory is Canada’s most prominent institution of music and learning. Some of Canada’s most famous musicians studied here, such as Glenn Gould, Teresa Stratas, Lois Marshall and Jon Vickers. Its headquarters, the Telus Centre for Performance and Learning, offers a beautiful balance of 19th- and 21st-century architecture, complete with the 1,135-seat Koerner Hall, which hosts classical, jazz, pop and world music concerts.
