Some of Canada’s most famous musicians studied here, such as Glenn Gould, Teresa Stratas, Lois Marshall and Jon Vickers. Its headquarters, the Telus Centre for Performance and Learning, offers a beautiful balance of 19th- and 21st-century architecture, complete with the 1,135-seat Koerner Hall, which hosts classical, jazz, pop and world music concerts.
