From May 2: Noriko Shinohara: Cutie and Bullie. The New York-based artist tells the story of her turbulent relationship with husband Ushio Shinohara, known for his work as the “boxing painter”, in this series of manga-inspired comic strips.
From May 2: Maura Doyle: the Vessel, that with fugitive Articulation answer’d: how deep is your love? The artist approaches the humble pot’s long history as a household tool, as a poet’s muse and metaphor, and as an object of beauty.
