The Lake Louise Summer Sightseeing Gondola takes you over the Lake Louise Ski Resort and has many additional attractions. It is open from mid May to mid October.
Lodge of the Ten Peaks is the second largest log structure in Canada resides at the base area of the sightseeing gondola and serves buffet breakfast and lunch. Ride & Buffet packages are available.

The Lodge of the Ten Peaks has a boutique selling Lake Louise and Canadian Rockies apparel and souvenirs. They also sell technical clothing, books, postcards, maps and prints.
The Interpretation Centre at the top of the gondola hosts exhibits with an emphasis on grizzly bears and natural landscapes. They run free, 20-minute interpretive presentations. Other interpretive programs include the Trail of the Great Bear, the Trail of Ice & Fire and the Trail of 7 Wonders guides walks.

Cruise for 14 glorious minutes, in an open chair or enclosed gondola, to one of Banff National Park's greatest views! At 2088 m/6850 ft, explore the spectacular scenery. From ambitious hikes to the summit of Mt Whitehorn to lovely short strolls, you’ll enjoy soaring peaks, stunning glaciers, lush carpets of alpine wildflowers, clear bubbling springs and often glimpses of wildlife surrounded by unspoiled wilderness. In fact, the Lake Louise Gondola is one of the best places to see wild grizzly bears in their natural environment. There’s an Interpretive Centre with nature displays and themed guided walks. At the base, breakfast and lunch buffets are offered by Lodge of the Ten Peaks, while Canadian cuisine is served at the top at Whitehorn Bistro & Patio.
