Moose’s Nook Chophouse is a Canadian steakhouse showcasing AAA Alberta beef, seafood and game.
ORSO Trattoria serves northern Italian fares including house made pasta and pork braciola. The drink menu includes Italian wines.
The Emerald Lounge & Patio has a large fireplace and lake view deck. The menu features lighter fare, share plates, burgers, sandwiches, steaks and the JPL’s signature Honey Lager.
Thompson’s Terrace features light fare and BBQ options.
Fitzhugh’s To Go is where guests will find “caffeine needs,” house made pastries, salads, sandwiches and fresh fruit smoothies.

The Emerald Lounge serves shareable appies and cheese fondue, French onion soup, a bison burger, charcuterie, roasted duck club, and sticky toffee pudding. They also serve a Jasper brewed Honey Bear blonde ale. The lounge has soft seats, a large fireplace and views of Lac Beauvert and Mt. Edith Cavell. The lounge is open daily and often features a resident guitarist or pianist.
ORSO Trattoria serves buffet breakfast daily with with à la minute food stations.
The Nook Chophouse menu boasts items like: bacon wrapped bison tenderloin, AAA beef ribeye, trout and chicken supreme. The restaurant has classic dark wood decor and a fireplace.

The resort has an 18-hole, par 71 Stanley Thompson designed course set against the backdrop of the mountains. The course has seventy-three bunkers, 3 water hazards and natural hazards such as roaming wildlife. Discount rates are offered for juniors, repeat rounds and at twilight. The Pro shop offers club rentals and lessons as well as sales of equipment and apparel. There is also a driving range, a practice green, and snack shop.
The disc golf course is set in a forested area with targets.
Rent mountain and cruiser bikes for exploring nearby trails.
Rent canoes, kayaks or paddleboards and explore Lac Beauvert.
The hills of the golf course driving range offer great family winter fun. Toboggan, sled, crazy carpet and tube rentals are available at the golf course clubhouse.
Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe or Fat Tire Bike
Explore outside during the winter on the trails around the area. Cross-country ski, snowshoe, and fat tire bike rentals are available for adults and children. Crampons are also available for sale or rent.
There are Zamboni-groomed outdoor rinks on Lake Mildred including rinks for hocky and curling as well as a skating oval. On weekends the Fairmont JPL hosts bonfires with hot chocolate. Guests can rent skates, curling rocks, cross-country skis and snowshoes from the golf course clubhouse.
