The Embarcadero is Calgary’s premiere oyster bar since 1995, featuring six to 12 varieties of northern Atlantic and Pacific fresh oysters on the half shell, with a daily featured $1.25 selection.
Named after the waterfront district in San Francisco, Embarcadero means "landing place" in Spanish, and the eclectic menu has Asian and Mediterranean influenced traditional favourites of fresh seafood, lamb and AAA Alberta beef.
An extensive wine list and a continually changing selection of wines by the glass are available. The historic red brick house has a main floor European style lounge with booth seating, an upstairs dining room ideal for private parties for up to 40 and a street level patio.
