This engaging, family-friendly facility focuses on informing and educating visitors about Alberta’s fish and aquatic habitats. Located on the south bank of the Bow River, it consists of: the Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery (one of the largest indoor trout hatcheries North America); the Pearce Estate Park Interpretive Wetland (an “outdoor classroom” showcasing aquatic habitats common to Alberta); a free catch-and-release trout pond with fishing gear rental; and the Discovery Centre with interactive exhibits, displays and educational programming. Trails are open to the public.
