Hot Date: Yo-Yo Ma Comes to Roy Thomson Hall

MAY 30 & 31 World-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma is no stranger to this city. He returns this month to join the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Elgar’s elegant Cello Concerto, as well as a cross-cultural piece originally written by Uzbek composer Dmitri Yanov-Yanovsky for Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble.
