Hot Shopping: Shop Talk: From a Pod to a Peppertree

Peppertree Fashions owner Constance Hall (pictured) believes in staying true to her goals.  When the boutique opened 10 years ago, Hall’s dream of bringing fabulous style to Winnipeg women was coupled with a vision to connect with her community in meaningful ways. This is evidenced by the three charity fashion shows she orchestrates each year, where her vivacious customers are cast as models. Hall says these events are a great way to get to know her customers personally. With such strong customer relationships, Hall buys stock confidently, often knowing exactly who will love each piece before it arrives in the store. Peppertree’s merchandise ranges from chic, professional career wear to bright and  jazzy cruise wear for snowbirds carried year-round. Colourful appliquéed sweaters, bold jewellery, and printed tunics are found in this happy shop. Nourished by its firmly planted roots, Peppertree has flourished over the past decade and looks fashionably forward to the future. Peppertree Fashions, 123 Scurfield Blvd, 204-837-2435
