At least, not at Sherway Gardens—the upscale  shopping centre west of Toronto hosts a Hometown Fair featuring hundreds of one-of-a-kind products. More than 30 groups offer lovingly created items including knitwear, handicrafts, wood furniture, preserves and baked goods. It’s a great opportunity to purchase some traditional artisan goods while helping to improve Toronto neighbourhoods—all proceeds go directly to help sustain the community centres and other local gathering places of fair participants.
