Discover the amazing rituals, ceremonies and predictions of one of Mesoamerica’s greatest civilizations at the Royal Ontario Museum‘s blockbuster exhibition Maya: Secrets of their Ancient World. Nearly 250 artifacts, including sculptures, ceramics and masks, will let you step back into the 9th century.

Feel the rhythm of Taiko drumming at Nagata Shachu’s newest production, HANA. The Toronto-based group rejuvenates the ancient folk drumming traditions of Japan to create exciting new music at Harbourfront Centre’s Fleck Dance Theatre.

Brighten your evening at Yonge-Dundas Square’s Illuminite event, and watch 52,000 LED bulbs light up a 45-foot-tall tree. Plus there will be live music, dance performances by The Samba Squad and aerial acts by stunt artists Circus Orange.
