JUNE 10 TO 16  Melancholy and morose or introspective and therapeutic? However you classify the music of Brooklyn’s The National, you’re sure to be captivated by their free June 14 concert at Yonge-Dundas Square, presented as part of NXNE. The festival itself features nearly 1,000 musicians, plus films, comedy shows, art installations and an interactive conference. Also headlining free Yonge-Dundas shows are Canadian punk band Billy Talent and enduring rockers Social Distortion.
