Chef Eric Wood has earned praise for his contemporary Canadian cooking at locally focused restaurants Fabarnak and Hawthorne; naturally you should expect the same high quality at Wood’s newest gig, The Beverley Hotel. The boutique property’s slender dining room takes a fairly direct approach to design—the front-of-house area and bar are rugged with timber and metal, while there’s more formal seating in the back—which matches well with Wood’s accessible menu.
