Natural Beauty

A park for all seasons, Bronte Creek Provincial Park (1219 Burloak Dr., Oakville, 905-827-6911) is a natural haven for visitors and locals 364 days a year (closed on Christmas Day). Summer sees strolling couples and families navigating the trails—the furthest is 2 km, shorter trails are wheelchair- and stroller-friendly—or swimming in the 1.8-acre man-made pool. In winter, hiking boots and swim trunks are traded for cross-country skis and ice skates.—Flannery Dean
