Track-suit lovers rejoice! California-based brand Juicy Couture opens its first freestanding store in Canada, ensuring young, laid-back gals north of the border can swath themselves in velour from head to toe, too. The company’s signature sweats—made famous when Madonna donned a set in the mid-1990s—come in full-sleeved hoodies and flared pants, and summer-ready puffed, short-sleeve hoodies, cropped cargo pants and Daisy Duke-inspired shorts—all in trademark velour as well as terrycloth, which apparently isn’t just for towels and bathrobes anymore. The 2,100-square-foot boutique is a brightly lit space awash in bubblegum pink. On top of track suits, it carries Juicy’s complete line of breezy dresses, sleepwear, primary-hued swimsuits, handbags and jewellery.
