Hot Dining: Gallic Delight

Toronto’s current go-to neighbourhood for eclectic, affordable cuisine recently welcomed another newcomer. This time, it’s one with a French accent. Toward the southern end of Ossington Avenue, diners with a craving for classic fare à la français can find comfort in escargots ($8.95), nicoise salad ($14.95), veal sweetbreads ($26) and green peppercorn sirloin steak ($28) at Beau Lieu Bistro. True to its name, this restaurant is a beautiful place, offering abundant charm thanks to its cozy ambience and graceful service.
