Funky stockings by Heidi van Veen are among the many, many gifts available for purchase at the One of a Kind Show

Give (and Make) Some Great Gifts
What are the odds of you giving a gift that someone already has? Zero per cent—if you pick up your presents from the One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale, ongoing until December 4 at Exhibition Place’s Direct Energy Centre. We’ve even got some helpful shopping hints for you, here.

Local vendors and artisans have their creations for sale amidst the traditional sights, sounds and scents of the holidays at the Toronto Christmas Market, happening at the Distillery District from December 2 to 18.

Children and their parents get a chance to create their own festive wreaths at Colborne Lodge on December 4, and kids can return on December 17 to make Christmas ornaments at the historic house in High Park.

Find handicrafts and fine art from local artisans at the Wandering Winter Craft Show, which meanders on over to the Gladstone Hotel on December 10.

Gift-sized original artworks are up for grabs at Art Interiors’ annual Festival of Smalls. The selection of Canadian-made paintings and drawings runs from $55 to $250 (very affordable!) until December 24.
