Essential to Toronto: Harbourfront’s Ice Capades

OPENS NOVEMBER 13 Although its Kinder Rink artificial ice surface provides Harbourfront Centre visitors with a year-round option for skating, winter is just around the corner, and with it comes the seasonal reopening of the ever-popular Natrel Skating Rink. One of Canada’s largest artificially cooled outdoor pads, this lively spot on the shores of Lake Ontario—and easily accessible from downtown—offers fantastic views of the city’s skyscrapers and the Toronto Islands while you whirl around the ice. Open daily at 10 a.m., weather permitting. Skate rentals $6 for kids and $7 for adults; call 416-973-4000 or click here for more information.
