Editor’s Pick

Renowned for its supple leather bags, Roots offers a new line of products designed, appropriately enough, to smooth human skin. The premise behind RootsSkin is as straightforward as its name: hand-poured, hand-cut and hand-finished soaps, creams and shampoos made in Atlantic Canada. Each of the 22 products, ranging from dry skin lipstick ($4.95) to dry skin lotion ($22.95), is made with eco-friendly raw materials such as cold-pressed pure olive oil, cocoa butter, beeswax and virgin coconut oil. Only select Roots stores across Canada stock the items—available in men’s, women’s and dry-skin lines. Find them here at the Toronto Eaton Centre and the Bloor Street flagship locations.

  1. Food was very good. Curry was delicious and creamy, for mild spice the vegetable biriyani was a bit hot but not intollerable. Service was very good as well. Naan was not spectacular at all though. Cozy atmosphere
