Kate Spade New York’s posh new digs on Cumberland Street

The Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood fuses historic charm and haute couture to offer a unique experience for lovers of luxury boutiques and designer labels. The streets are lined with all manner of big-name international retailers, and have lately welcomed a number of new brands, too. Kate Spade New York, Stuart Weitzman and the first standalone Dolce & Gabbana store in Canada are among the recent arrivals, while existing merchants like Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. have moved to larger, spiffier locations mere steps from their old Bloor Street West outposts. With all this added glam, Yorkville continues to be counted as one of the world’s glitziest shopping districts.  —Laura Sabatini
