Hot Attractions: War Art

For powerful art off the beaten track, check out the Canadian War Museum for the extraordinary exhibit, “A Brush with War: Military Art from Korea to Afghanistan.” With a collection of 64 paintings by both civilians and artists in the Canadian Forces, this exhibition showcases Canada’s military experience over the last sixty years. The display acts as a stunning new way to view the country’s past, and the museum has plenty of other attractions for the history buffs in all of us. Go soon though: the exhibit ends its three-month run on March 20.
