February 14 to May 9
Get an earful of classical tunes (or several) with monthly performances by Orchestras Mississauga. On February 14, the Mississauga Symphony, conducted by John Barnum with Andrew Burashko on piano, presents For the Love of Music. The symphony returns on March 28 with You Saw Them First, featuring emerging flautist Laura Chambers and violinist Stanislav Pronin. April 18 brings Symphony and Silents—the Mississauga Philharmonic accompanies the timeless silent films Mighty Like a Moose and Buster Keaton’s The General. And on May 9, lyric tenor Mark Dubois performs notable arias with exceptional young singers in Tomorrow’s Divas Today. Living Arts Centre, 8 p.m., $15 to $45; call 905-306-6000 for tickets
