Fabulous Canadian Furs

Canadian fur design has come a long way since the Hudson’s Bay Company (Canada’s oldest corporation) was chartered to trade for pelts in 1670. Musi Fur (established 1994 by brothers George, Nikola and Musa Musi), combines traditional Canadian craftsmanship with leading edge designs that have been featured in Vogue, Town & Country and Style magazines. “We don’t sell furs, we sell wearable works of art,” says George Musi. In Banff, Musi fur fashions are displayed at Miriam Joy and Snowflake. — Nora O’Malley
