Air Canada offers new BlackBerry service

With Air Canada’s new Web Signals service, BlackBerry users can receive real-time information on their device’s home screen. The service will provide a direct link to clients’ electronic boarding passes as well as flight notification updates.

Unique Quebec region attracts food lovers and cyclists

The area of Lanaudiere, Quebec is home to culinary destinations that are making food lovers drool. One of these attractions is the bed & breakfast Aux Saveurs du Coteau, located in St. Cuthbert. Owners Francine Paquet and Louise Landry treat guests from around the world to home-cooked meals inspired by local ingredients and Quebecois recipes. Other draws include Chevrerie Barrousse, a goat farm, and the Vignoble Carone vineyard, which combines old and new styles of winemaking.

B.C. tour company adds new adventure excursion

A Victoria whale-watching company, Prince of Whales, has added a new type of sightseeing excursion to their roster. The new two-hour boat tour involves tourists being taken out on a boat decked out in survival suits, to travel along the shore of Vancouver all the way to Indian Arm Provincial Park. Some of the attractions on the journey include the Twin Islands, Granite Falls, Marine Park, and seeing the city from an entirely new perspective.
