These days, deal-seeking for a hotel, car or attraction almost always starts online. We’ve culled a dozen Web sites to bookmark to find your best options and best prices this summer.

1. Kayak

This hugely popular Web site is routinely praised for ease of use and fast, accurate results for the best prices in hotels, cars and flights. You’re bound to find a discount, especially if you’re flexible with your plans. A cool feature allows you to put in a price and see how far those dollars can take you. Note that Kayak is an aggregator, meaning they don’t book travel directly; instead, Kayak finds the deal and links you to the seller’s site.

2. Hotwire
Another good spot to search for the big three—hotel, flight, car rental—is old-hat booking site Hotwire. It has a comparison tool with Hotels.com, Expedia and CarRental.ca for hotels, flights and car rentals, respectively, so there’s no need to also check those sites. Tip: get a newsletter subscription to find even more deals and last-minute options.

3. Travelzoo
If the deal is to be found, Travelzoo will dig it up. Offering flight, hotel, train and car-rental discounts that are verified by its extensive team, this site is a good place to find tickets to sporting events, attractions and cultural events, too. Sign up for e-mail alerts to get the site’s top 20 travel deals of the week or check its discount search enging Fly.com to compare prices on flights, car rentals and (from Kayak) hotels. It scans some discount airlines you won’t find on booking sites like Hotwire.

TIP: We recommend comparing prices on more than one of these sites to find the best deals. And it never hurts to find the deal on these sites, then call the establishment to see if they’ll match it if you book with them directly—it can prevent hassles later on if you need to change or cancel your reservation.

4. Flight Network
Focused on finding the best deals for flights, Flight Network offers a price-drop guarantee and and refunds the consumer the difference. It routinely offers low prices for popular cities across Canada as well as out of country fave destinations such as Mexico and the Caribbean.

5. Escapes.ca
Don’t feel like doing much thinking too book a holiday? Go to Escapes.ca, which has packages for destinations across Canada and destinations south. It’s good option for planning honeymoons, anniversary trips or long weekends in popular cities.
