Toronto’s luxury hotel boom is contributing more to the city than hundreds of (what we can only imagine are) fabulously comfortable king-size beds. It also brings new restaurants, bars and spas.
One of the most highly anticipated of these is the new Stock restaurant, at the Trump International Hotel and Tower—profiled this week by TorontoLife.com.
All the glitz and glam you’d expect of a Trump property are firmly in place: velvet chairs, 24-foot ceilings, revered chef, master sommelier, über-expensive steaks. Then there are the things you might not anticipate, like a 31st-floor balcony with al fresco dining, a 1,000-bottle wine wall and a dedicated chocolate laboratory.
