Tiffany & Co. Arrives at West Edmonton Mall

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend… and at Tiffany & Co., you’re certainly in good company!

WHERE Edmonton got to check out the exclusive preview of the first Tiffany & Co. store to open in Edmonton on October 11, 2013.

Tiffany’s has maintained its cultural status as one of the luxury jewellery retailers in the world, and the little blue box that carries each of their treasures remains a timeless, coveted icon. Regardless of the cultural status, Tiffany’s jewellery collections are quality, beautiful pieces; there is something for every style — and, yes, even for every budget — at the Edmonton Tiffany’s location.

The most eye-catching sparklers include the popular collection of diamond engagement rings, as well as jewellery made with pretty (and rare) soft yellow and pink diamonds. Most of Tiffany’s designs have a sleek, classic look to them, with different stones, gold colours and carats, crafting different variations of each style of ring and necklace. The Tiffany charm bracelets are unmistakable Tiffany’s classics, for those who like the prestigious look of the iconic heart-shaped tags. Most of their other collections, however, are more understated and elegant with clean lines and no logos.

Exclusive collections from designers Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso have a more contemporary look and pop with coloured stones, funky designs, and familiar shapes like hearts, teardrops, and leaves. The new Ziegfeld Collection channels the jazz-era style of the roaring 20s (inspired and popularized by the blockbuster film The Great Gatsby) with pieces studded with pearls and onyx.

Besides jewellery, the store stocks accessories like sunglasses, leather day timers, clutches, key rings, pens, perfume and cologne, and even a selection of baby gifts.

Part of the charm of Tiffany’s is the legendary story — certainly shaped by stories around the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the historic flagship store in New York circa 1837 — and that the company continues to impress the importance of having a good story. The store’s staff will help you decide which piece will become part of your own special memory; they are very knowledgeable about the technical details of each piece, as well as the inspiration and meaning behind each design.

What will you want to get in your little blue box?

Tiffany & Co. is open in West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton, AB; Mon – Sat 10 am – 9 pm, Sun 11 am – 6 pm.
