For a different take on the original high-school musical, Jubilations Dinner Theatre’s Greased show runs until Nov 7. The one and only Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan arrives at the Scotiabank Saddledome as part of his cross-country speaking tour. Millan will share his insights on dog psychology, as well as tips and tools for a calm and balanced pet (and owner). Millan, star of his own television program, is an accomplished author as well. Four-year-old Caillou’s everyday adventures on TV and in books have resonated with preschool audiences around the world. Zoolights

Once the sun goes down, the Calgary Zoo gets transformed into Western Canada’s largest seasonal light display. Over 1.5 million lights are shaped into animals like gorillas, lions, giraffes and elephants, as well as other holiday icons like Santa Claus, reindeer, and snowmen. Some of the most popular spots are Candy Cane Lane, a walkway illuminated by over-sized candy canes, and designated kids’ plays areas like Snow Bowling, the Reindeer Stables and Snigloo, where they can make their own igloo.
